The newly opened Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle's Southport is recruiting for an Intermediate Cook 2 to join our growing Renton Family!

An Intermediate Cook 2 requires good communication and culinary skills. The desired cook candidate will have hotel cooking experience and a culinary degree. An intermediate cook should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. Intermediate cook will work single stations in the kitchen and require significant supervision and training.

Qualifications:
• Refined verbal communication skills. • 2-3 years of previous line experience preferred. • Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred. • Candidate should be able to understand kitchen terminology and perform all basic cooking skills, including: -Preparing omelets -Over easy eggs -Hollandaise sauce -Proficient in broiler and sauté -Able to make stocks and soups -Basic knife cuts -Able to fabricate meats and fish • Able to work single station in the kitchen as well as multi-task • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment. • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
