Hyatt Room Service Order Taker/Grand Scoops Attendant in TAMPA, Florida

This position is a dual role with responsibilities in both our In Room Dining department as well as Grand Scoops Ice Cream Shop.
Order Takers record guest food and beverage in-room dining orders and offer menu suggestions. This role has continuous communication with the in-room dining servers on amenity coordination and all deliveries. This position processes forms of payment for goods and services to include room charges, credit card and cash. The interaction between Order Takers and guests can determine the overall satisfaction of the in-room dining experience.
Grand Scoops features locally made ice cream and serves milkshakes, sundaes, floats and other prepackaged desserts and novelties. Grand Scoops Attendants independently ensure that the outlet and inventory are neatly organized and attractively displayed. This position is responsible for making product recommendations, preparing the items and processing forms of payment to include room charges, credit cards and cash for novelty items. Attendants are the final point of contact for the experience and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction.
