We are currently looking for an experienced Director of Group & Event Sales to join our team. We are an international 5* hotel nestled on the picturesque gardens of Portman Square, just 100 meters north of Marble Arch and Oxford Street. Our aim is to create energizing experiences that connect our guests to who and what matters to them most.

A bout the role:


The Director of Group & Event Sales is accountable for 8 colleagues in the Group & Event Sales team and ensures the department meets their required financial goals and customer service criteria. It is equally important to ensure guests are provided with the required services and assistance connected with their event experience to build long-term relationships and develop customer loyalty.

Key processes include but are not limited to: * Overseeing the sales, negotiation and contracting of both event and group business through effective management of the department * Setting clear strategies and goals to enhance team performance and achieve annual budgeted targets * Regularly monitoring and reviewing all prospect, tentative and lost business enquires with the aim of driving increased conversion levels * Evaluating the source of local, national and international event and group sales enquires * Working closely with the UK Area MICE team and Hyatt Sales Force to ensure they understand the strategic direction of the hotel and they deliver the required level of support to help develop and retain national and international accounts * Assisting in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan and the monthly re forecast of revenues and expenses
